In the demo of cubase 3.6 when it plays back I get a count in of one bar before it plays back.

Now Iv got the full version of cubase V5 and for some reason theres a count in of two bars which is realy ***##~
me off as I cant seem to find any settings for this.

In the transport bar when I click on the begining arrow it shows -0.0.0 0 where I want it to diplay 0.0.0 0.
Iv looked in the online manual and cant find these settings. I know this is not set in the metronome setting.

Also In the demo which I found realy good was the ability to view a help me file by clicking on the item and pressing the F1 key to take you directly to that topic instead of trying to locate it somewhere in the manual why!.

From the drop down menu's along the top, file, tools etc. Under one of them (can't remember which one) you will see "metronome". In here you can select the number of bars for count in from 0 to whatever you like. You can also select a preroll in here which is handy for giving yourself some time to prepare for a punch in. You can hear the music but it doesn't actually record until it hits the Left marker.

Thankyou EMERIC for your responce,

I have found what the problem was and it was in the options
synchronization menu where the bar display was set as default to -2 count in for the sync.
