hey all, this is my first post in about 3 months--they musta remodeled the forum.looks good

is there a way to copy songs from my cassette player into my computer? what kinda converter do i need? i have N-trak if that helps. i also use the Goldwave editor.

thanks,jw

thanks jr, will try it. one more question.

i have a stereo line out to my stereo from my sound card. can i just add another line in to it (the line in) at the same time the line out is there? another words, can i moniter it as it's recording my cassette's? my phillips edge soundcard is fullduplex.

i know i could "just try it" but i have to go out and buy a$15 cable and all. just wanna make sure. jw

That could give lots of feedback. Thats all feedback is, a continuos loop. You could monitor out of anothe rpair of speakers, or headphones by all means. But trying to run the line out into the card, and then the line in back into the stereo, might present the problem of the signal coming from the computer into the stereo and then going back into the computer, and then over, and over, and over, creating feedback.
