How do I record in Ableton Live

I recently bought a interface and mic and ableton live came with it, and it's a demo version I searched youtube and everything but nothing came up

so how do I record in it

It did not come with a manual, second it's a demo version that came with an interface I bought

and I searched youtube because they usually have vidoes of people doing it

Have you looked on the software CD for a PDF file of the manual? Seems possible they could have included a copy in PDF or some format right on the CD.

I understand your problem. I got the same thing with my sound card. I poked around in the program for about half an hour before I decided that I like Audacity way better.
