How do I get the MPC 2000 to talk to Trinity

I have the Trinity, I can record one sound in the MPC fine. But when I go to change the sound of the Trinty on the MPC go from Midi 1 to Midi 2 and change the program in the Trinity. The first sound I recorded change to whatever sounds I changing the second sound to. I try to change the Midi channel in the Trinity but don't know how? Do anybody know how to take advantage of the 16 Midi tracks the Trinity offer?


How do I go to track two to record a totally diffent sound in the MPC from the Trinity and keep track one sound the same?

If you put the trinity in sequencer mode u can then manipulate which tracks send on which MIDI channels. While in sequencer mode, press P2. The P2 page will show. Here is where you select the midi channel for each track. simply highlight the track's MIDI channel and change the number as needed.
