Here's my list of questions

How do I make vocals louder ?

How do I master tracks from it ?

And How do I set my pre-sets ?

The Search Bar is your friend.

Google is your friend (loads of articles on-line).

READ everything you can get your hands on; go to the bookstore, grab a cuppa java and plant yourself in the cafe for a couple of afternoons a month and go through all the recording magazines and books.

Go to amazon.com and type "Home Recording" in the search bar. Or "mixing" or "mastering" and BUY some books.

Take the time to EXPERIMENT with your equipment.

"There are no magic buttons or pre-sets...."

The volume fader, unless of course you recorded them way too low to begin with in which case cranking up the volume just won't do a bit of good.

How do you what, from what? No offense, but from the sounds of it you have not yet mastered the volume fader.

Most presets (for things that have them, like effect plug-ins, assuming that is what you mean) are associated with a menu. Usually presets are supposed to be a guide, but sometimes certain plug-ins have presets that work sufficiently for some stuff - if you don't find a preset you like then either find one that is close and tweak it until you do like it, or just experiment with settings.

There are lots of books and sites that have tons of info for novices and many that have aided experts. There are even schools and workshops you can attend. Like others said: READ, experiment and when you have done all of that, read more and experiment again.

I'm wondering if Walters has a new name...

That's less scary than if he doesn't !

I had to do a search for posts done by Walters to see what you were talking about and I see the similarities are strikingly similar.

Yeah - pretty similiar thinking and communication skills eh?

From what I have read Walters seems to be slightly more advanced, as if Tremendou$ is a novice version of him. I wonder if Tremendou$ will reach the point where he is asking questions about "pitch shifted delay double tracking Eventide."
