Ive Heard Of Covnerting A Audio Track To A Midi Track And Then Using A Sampled Kick Sound ??? Maybe In Reason ??? Ive Tried But Cant Figure This Out , I Also Have Sonor 2.0xl ???id Like To Experiment ..help!@#

I don't use it but there I know there are a lot of people here that do.
 
I second Drumagog. You can turn it into a midi track, but you don't have to with this.

You could pick up a cheap drum machine or module that accepts a trigger "in". Trigger the kick to the module and then send the midio out of the unit to your computer. Of course in that scenario theres always the problem of accidental triggers and there is no velocity sensitivity like Drumagog.
 
If you are intending to do this more than once it might be worth your while to get something like the Alesis dm5 sound module/trigger. They run about $200 on ebay and they sound great. What's nice is you can run the output of your recorded channel into the trigger and then record the dm5's more accurate sounds. I have done this in the past when I wasn't able to get a good drum sound do to lack of skills with mics and limited space for recording. I will still use it to add a cleaner sound to my bass drum...

I'll second the DM5. I use the insert of the board to the DM5 and trigger away.
 
The DM5 is a good alternative if you can find one cheap on ebay. Otherwise, Drumagog works better and is in about the same price range.
