Hey guys-

Is there a way that I can convert wma (media player) files to MP3 or wav.?

Thanks.

The easiest way to do it is with iTunes. Just drag the WMA into iTunes and it will automatically convert it to your defualt import format (mp3, wav, aac, etc.)

ive been trying for hours now to do just this folks
but to no avail
a friend sent me files to use in Pro Tools, but im stuck!
iTunes wont open the wma file

neither will WMV player or Quicktime(mac os error 19000)
i also downloaded Switch for mac,,tried MX,,and umpteen others

hi mate
thanks for that offer:cool: i just saw it now,,DOH!
but i ended up redoing a lot of the stuff from scratch instead
it was a pain in the arse, but it had to be done as i need to make a start

And thanks to Johnnymegabyte there for that link also
but i cant figure out how to download the Mac version,
without getting into all that stuff about WINE(whatever that is)
i was pretty sure that Pro Tools was able to cope with WMA files easily,
but not for me sadly

grr:o
