Yes, I have a Eurorack 1604, arts 4-channel headphone amp, delta 44 soundcard, etc. How do I hook up my mixer to the soundcard and my headphone amp to the mixer?

ok i'm kinda in the same boat as you, i don't have the same mixer or sound card but i do have a similar setup and we've got a problem....if you're wantin' to record 4 seperate tracks at the same time, you're gonna hafta route the channels to the aux outputs, and hook those up to your soundcard....but if you're like me, and only record use one stereo track at once you can hook up the two main outs of the mixer in to the soundcard, hook up your headphone amp to the sound card if you can, cuz if ya try to monitor through the mixer, you'll create an audio loop (veddy bad).....it's kind of a trade off and it sucks!

good luck

You can use the Main Outs for two channels and the ALT 3+4 Outs for the other two.

Are you only using headphones for monitoring? Then plug the 1/2 outs of the Delta to the L/R ins of the headphone amp.

AlChuck,

Which output would you route to the monitors then?

With my setup, I route 2 outs from alt like AlChuck describes, and the other 2 from direct out on the mono channels. Just plug the jack halfway in, you will then be able to hear those tracks and sending them out to your card at the same time.

huh?

I get the mains to sound card part but, what auxilary outputs are we talking about:
aux sends
FX sends
Mono out
headphone/control room
tape out?And while we're at it why can't you use the tape out and switch it when you in play back, worked with video cassettes before I got the computer thing?
