How could I put an old iMac to use?

My friend is getting rid of his old iMac. It's a G3 400mhz with 128 MB of RAM, and I believe a 10GB hdd. It was the DV edition so I think it's got firewire and maybe something else the standard iMacs did not have. But anyways, he said he'd give it to me for $300. I wouldn't mind having it, especially since he's got OS X on it. What could I use it for? I'm most interested in using it for sampling. What kind of software could I get for it?
