Hello everyone, I'm new here, my name is Pipelayer (which only means I'm a plumber, just to clear that up). I just purchased the Aleses MultiMix 16 Firewire Mixer, I have it set up in Windows XP professional with the new, just downloaded, drivers and newest firmware. I can use the WDM driver but it's not that hot with this setup. I've used ASIO drivers on several sound cards with much better results. My software sequencer is "Steinberg Nuendo", Every darn time I try to switch to the "ASIO MultiMix" driver, I get this error statement: "ERROR opening dice bus device: [2]".
Does anyone know what this means and how to get rid of it?? I'm anxious to get started on some projects, other than this the mixer seems like a really nice peice of equipment. Can someone PLEASE help me out?
