How can I earth my turntable?

Just wondering if anyone knew of any way of connecting a turntable that requires earthing to a hi=fi system with no earthing connection.

At the moment, I am connecting the turntable to a mixer which then feeds into the aux in of the system. I just wondered if there was a away of bypassing the mixer and going direct.
 
When you say earthing, I am assuming that you are saying grounding". ;)

Does your hi-fi system have a phono input?

If it only has an AUX input, then you'll need to place the MIXER in line between the TURNTABLE and the HI-FI. You will need something to amplify the signal (i.e. mixer or pre-amp).

You will be able to ground the turntable by attaching the ground wire to another piece of metal.
