anyone? do you have to pound the cemnet, or is it just luck?
Luck is not invloved in marketing itself, just do your homework and market in areas that compliment and add to what it is that is relative to your music. Luck, or as some may say, fate, is often attatched to the result of your marketing scheme.
FIRST you have to have a talent that is of some type of demand. Be it because you're nice with it, or your originality is so different, someone is willing to take a chance on it.(INVESTOR)
SECOND you would have to be discovered. Maybe you know someone, who knows someone, who knows someone, who knows somebody.......Or you just happen to be at the right place at the right time!
Good marketing could land you in those categories, but most importantly remember: You're just a drop in the bucket. If being a signed artist, doing well, is what you're looking for.......You have to Most Importantly HAVE A TRUE TALENT, stay on your game, be diligent and learn all that you can, ask questions, and be ready for anything at all times......You may only get one shot at a grand opportunity and you gotta be ready!
