Although itss not normally the genre I listen too it sounding ok to me m8 both bass and guitar..we have the same problem with the drum machine too..lol good luck

Muddy as the last mouthful from a bottle of Cooper's Ale.(It throws a crust like a red wine & it dregs around when poured out but it tastes really good)
Muddy - usually instruments occupying the same sonic space. Suss out what frequencies the guitars use, look for a section they both a big on & pull taht back on one of the guitars whilst boosting a freq they don't commonly over occupy in the same guitar.
OR scoop out the mids in one guitar & boost the ends of it.
Bass - drop out the bottom end flatten some of its mids & give it a tweak in the upper mids/lower highs.
Riff sounds good & the repeat section sounds industrial heavy.

That's part of the problem. The drum machine is the only part of this recording that has any dynamics. The rest is just too loud and tiring to listen to. Don't get caught up in the volume war, you'll end up deaf. Turn it down some and then you'll hear what needs to change and you'll develop your own tastes.

You need to thin out the guitars some...cut some of the bottom end from them, and tighten the bass up...maybe with some compression, and eq it.

I think the basic sounds are there, but it needs to be put together better. Don't try and make the guitar sound perfect on it's own if you want to leave room for the bass.
