I like mine. I did swap out the stock speaker for an Eminence Patriot Ragin Cajin, and it really filled out the tone nicely. Last time I checked, the consensus was that the stock tubes were fine. This still stand?
 
I did the Ragin Cajun swap, too, and heard little difference. But, I do like the tone I get more than that of my casual band-mate who plays thru the same kinda amp, only stock. 'Course, I play a better guitar than he does (USA Strat/Texas Specials for me) and I pay more attention to my tone. Oh, and I make sure he catches a glimpse of that pretty dark blue speaker semi-hiding in there, just so he can wonder about it. My SCXD ("skicksdee?") is at the bottom of my amp "program," whereas it's his only one. Yeah, I'm proud! Whatofit?:)

I got no issues with the stock tubes, FWIW, but I have never tried others in there.

I just gotta rib you for the fact that you acknowledge that you like the "Patriot Ragin' Cajun", that being the nickname of James Carville. :p
