I'm using Cubase VST on a macintosh. My Cubase Getting started manual mentions that Cubase is always listening to the midi being played and stores it in a buffer even if I'm not actively recording. It also says there is a hotkey to capture previously played MIDI messages. But it doesn't say what the hotkey is and I can't find it in the "Getting into the Details" document.
Has anyone seen this or know how to activate it? I'm always noodling around and play something accidentally (when not actively recording, I get plenty of accidents there) that I wish I'd captured.
