MTV IS LOOKING FOR MUSIC
Rock-Electronic-Blues-Dance-Hip Hop-Lounge-Punk-Urban-World

MTV is looking for music for it's upcoming programming for 3rd and 4th quarter, 2006. 1st and 2nd quarter 2007.
They are seeking almost all genres of music and instrumentals -
NO SAMPLES / Now accepting full version vocals.
THEY ARE LOOKING FOR MODERATE TO UPBEAT TEMPO.
Submissions only must be of full version / no snippets.
MTV will except background, non-explicit hooks and full version non-explicit vocals

Your music must be original, no samples, and you must be affiliated with a publishing company. ie BMI SESAC, ASCAP or any other publishing affiliate.

All works submitted must be of exclusive ownership to those at least 18 years of age, or Conservative of Estate for those under 18.

You must agree to the BROKER'S AGREEMENT if your music is chosen for MTV.
We will send you the BROKER'S AGREEMENT per your request.
All artists are required to sign a Music Broker Agreement with the Independent Music Broker.
We do not ask for any compensation, unless your music is selected for licensing with MTV.

you can sign up for either for free... but if you have a "DBA" BMI requires a 150$ fee.

I went with BMI..

and you can only join one..

But, you can switch companies if at some point you feel like you're not getting what you wanted. A homie of mine just switched his publishing from ASCAP to BMI for that very reason.
