Hot Mix

Weell, since your telling us that its a "HOT" mix I just had to hear it then. Not my style of music so you need someone elses musical opinion on that count. Since everythings sampled (correct me if Im wrong please) its a lot easier to get that "HOT" mix cause they sound mixed already when you get the samples. Youve got a good vocal sound going there. And I guess youve mixed your samples into a good sound. I could imagine hearing this in a disco or a night club....

Sampling???????????? in Hip Hop????????????? Nahhhhhhh????

That never happens. Disco bro, australia must be a little behind in times, but I'm glad you liked the vocals even though it wasn't your genre of music. Thanx for the input

Samples for the most part have been mixed, however it doesn't always mean that mix of the sound will fit the other music you are trying to fit it into. Is it easier, thats debatable, by the time it takes me to fit samples together to work in harmony I could make 5-10 beats on a drum machine.

Cool, no worries mate, sounds good anyway. like the backing vocals too.

It's ok...but not me cup-o-tea. I must say, your hat is on crooked in your picture;) Keep 'em comin' mate!

hey mixmkr, but ot by your cup of tea do you mean your genre of music or just not your style of hip hop.......

I know I keep havin problems wit that damn hat tooooooo.

it's basically not my genre of music. However, I do enjoy the music, and think a kick ass guitar lead over it would be pretty cool. With hip hop, what is hard for me to overlook, is the vocal melodies are all so similar. Your vocals, however sound good, given the genre....and do seem to blend in with the sampled background vocs. Anyone who records/plays/writes/performs music, and enjoys/desires/has balls, to put their work in front of other people, is allright in my book....even though I'm not a Yankee fan:D

YOUR NOT A YANKEES FAN

Well ya still ok in my book, thanks for the feedback

Has it changed from the last time you posted that track? That is a funny picture, where did you find it?

Gec,

Niiiice stuff man, not a huge hip-hop fan (and a die hard Boston fan sooo ya know, it's cool though, I looked the other way) but like the track alot. Your vocal sound is smooth as silk, the backing vocals were cool, and man I think there are some congo/bongo drums that come in/out around 2:00, you should crank the volume on those, atleast for a little break, I think that would kick it, overall real good, keep the beats comin man!

Damn

Greetings,

You know, normally I hate 99.9% of hip hop...but i kinda like this...
good damn beat and its not cluttered so you can enjoy it.

That female backing track is just hot....

Your voice is good for this stuff

As a guitar guy i'm biased, but a dirty sampled guitar melody over the chorus would be cool in my opinion, just because the beat is similiar, it would set the chorus apart. Although, you don't want to clutter what is a good mix already.

What equipment did you use to make it?

Good work
