Hello, I have a pair of passive Yorkville YSM1's I was powering them with some shit-ass receiver.

I now have a hafler TA 1600.

The speakers are 6ohm
and the amp is 4. It has two channels.

How do I safely hook these speakers up? One thread said that this combination should be "wired in a series." "If they are hooked up parallel they will be 3 ohms and I you dont want to do that"

How do I hook them up in a series? I want to hook them up thru the open wire clips.

What's the safest way to run this combination?

-thank you-

Goodness no - Don't hook them up in series or anything - Left to left, right to right.

The 4-ohm designation is (X-power AT 4 Ohms). I know the TA1600 will handle 8,6,4 ohms - No problem.
