Uh, how do I go about doing this? There's not an option in the Delta control panel to have output 3/4 be a monitor mixer as well. I have my monitors hooked up to 1/2.

So...how do I get my output to go to 3/4 as well?

Before you go down that route....does your HeadPhone amp have a left and right channel input and output? If so, input from the 1/2 channels on the Delta and the output on the headphone amp to your monitors. I say that as that's how mine is setup....just a thought.

go get 2 mono splitters from radio shack so can split the signal from your 1010 to your monitors and headphone amp.

Are you using a mixer? I use a headphone amp and a Delta 1010. I feed the headphone amp with the pre-fader aux sends from my mixer, so I can get a headphone mix separate from my monitor mix in Cubase.

I'll provide more details if this is how you might be able to do it.

Yes, it does but my headphone amp is a Behringer and I don't want it degrading my monitoring chain. I could care less about the headphone quality because I'm just going to be using it for tracking.

And wouldn't that degrade the signal going to my monitors?

I faced the same dilemma recently with the Delta 66. It's a shame they don't allow you to route the monitor mix to outputs 3&4. I ended up getting the Presonus HP4 headphone amp based on positive reviews about it's sound quality. So far, it's working like a charm. I don't hear anything funny in the main monitor outputs and the headphone outs are similarly clear. Also, I wouldn't say that headphone quality isn't important for tracking, as I place mics while monitoring through headphones and want as accurate a sound as I can get in the cans, so I know what the mic is "hearing." So, what I'm saying is, sell the behri and get something better. ;)
