Hook up MIc to guitar level input?

Being a Lame Old Fart, I came up with the stupid idea of hooking up a microphone to the input of my Zoom 505 to see what kind of Lame effects I could put on my voice.

Any idea how this could be done sucessfully?

Is some kind of impedance adjustment neccessary? And the level?

A mic puts out a much lower signal level than a guitar does, so to do what you want, you'd have to put a mic pre before the input to your Zoom...
