I am going to build a couple absortion panels for recording vocals. I have 36 1'x 1' panels of auralex foam that I would like to use for it unless anyone thinks I should use another type of material:

I'm thinking of building them about 3' x 4' and I will hang them in a corner of the room behind the mic:

should I use these foam panels or something else? should I consider another area than the corner? any other suggestions?

thanks

dont put em in the corner, put rigid fiberglas framedi n a corner with airgap behind it, it will do way more, use the foam on the ceiling or parrallel walls.

I'm sorry, I'm not quite sure what you mean by framed fiberglass with an air gap. Anyone care to elaborate? ...sorry

thanks
