i have a vocopro DA1050, A HP pavilion pc, mixcraft 4 software, and a MXL v67g microphone (green & gold). how do i use what i have to be able to record vocals over instrumentals????? THANK YOU

1. import the instruments into your software
2. plug in the interface to the pc, and the mic to the interface
3. press record
4. sing

how do i plug the interface to the pc? what cords do i use?

Looks like you need an audio interface. That karaoke machine isn't one. For one mic, you can use a USB interface. Search through the Newbies for many recommendations.

have fun,

is there anyway i can plug the v67g mic straight to the pc?

no there is not, unless its the usb version, which no one around here will recommend. go check out something like a m audio fasttrack or similiar one input interface with phantom power. will run you anywhere from 50-150 depending on where you buy, what you buy, and if its new or used.
