Any body been able to compare the two of these? Pro's/Con's? The list of features that Home studio offers is impressive and its only $69.00 compared to the hundreds that Sonar cost. Home studio says its w2k and xp compatible, which is a huge plus. Unlimited tracks, effects, loops, midi, etc etc.

The bang for the buck argument obviosly applies here, but is it more of a 'you get what you pay for'? or 'Sonar is better but not $200 better'?

Thanks in advance,
Todd

I'd go with Home Studio unless Sonar had some feature I just had to have. Actually, now I'm using Plasma Express , which is free....I can get it to recognize a piece of hardware Sonar doesn't recognize...And it will load all the DXi stuff...limited to 4 stereo audio tracks ....and no 24 bit recording ....but it's free. you might be able to find it on a recent Computer Music magazine CD.
