perhaps not many people have got the juli@ card from ego systems, but I have recorded my synths and elec piano with outstanding quality with it.
now I was hoping to produce a pro-sounding album with the band, and thought we could record drums at a professional (real ) studio and then the bass guitar and keyboards at home with the juli@ at 96hz/24bit

could this work?? is there anything special I need to record the bass guitar?

cheers.

I wouldnt pre-impose a sample rate, thats a good place to start

Looks like youll need some sort of preamp to record the bass with this, as far as I cant tell it shows a line level input on the analog section

The Juli@ has no preamp; it has 2 ins that can be either 1/4" or RCA but you will need to preamp the signals that come from any mic; that is, assuming you will mic your bass cab.

could this work??

It could. Both bass and keyboards can be recorded directly, without being dependent on good acoustics.
Still, that doesn't give you an instant pro sounding recording.
To start with, in general for bass you need: Fresh strings, fresh strings, fresh strings.
