I'm trying to record some electric guitar onto my 4-track at home.
I use a Fender Hotrod Deluxe tube amp and am trying to use the line out as input to my 4-track. However I am getting interference - a constant buzzing and it's affecting the quality. I can't seem to minimise the problem.
I have a preference not to go straight into my 4-track. Even using a DI unit (H&K Redbox Pro) the sound is incredibly muddy. The problems not coming from FX pedals as I'm going straight from guitar > amp, amp line out > 4 track.
Any suggestions. help, tips etc would be much appreciated ...
