i was skipping through books for recording at my local bookstore and i saw HOME RECORDING FOR DUMMIES and it looked like it might be able to help me. Is this book any good and if not could you recommend a book for home recording?

I don't know much on the book but I can tell you that you are currently in THE best place for info on home recording.

You will find stuff here that you will not find anywhere else!
Guaranteed!

Use the search engine and whatever question you ask you'll find an answer to. If not you can just post it.

Peace

Not only that, but there is so much info on the web now...who needs a book. Especially since most are $20-$40

My problem with getting info online is that I'm a HUGE bathroom reader, and I don't have a laptop, and even so, nothing compares to sitting in there for 2 hours reading an actuall book untill your legs fall asleep. :-)
