I'm imagining that they would sound brighter, punchier with less bass response. I have no experience with these...I'm just currious.

12" speakers will have a more xtended bass freq response than the 10"s if they are loaded in the right cab. Personally I like the configuration of 4x10" for guitar, but that works much better on Fenders and some other vintage-like amps.

The sound depends on the perspective; if u want some high sound levels then get a 4x12". If that's not of a concern, I suggest trying out some weber 10" speakers. :rolleyes:
