Hobson Sound (Tulsa)?

From 1982 til '85 or so I lived in the Tulsa OK area. There was a guitar maker/equipment repair guy who had a shop close to downtown. His name was Jerry Hobson, his specialties included repairing Hammond organs and building these beautiful electric guitars made from African Purple Heart wood. The downside of Purple Heart is weight--VERY heavy...But prettier than koa...

I've done google searches and such and it's like the guy disapeared from the face of the planet. Anyone know what ever happened to Jerry?

Jerry Hobosn is alive and well and retired in Fort Myers, Florida. Closed the Tulsa store in 1986.
