Hiss Noise

Just today I'm getting random split second staccato hiss sound through any completed project I open upon playback. I have a tascam 1082 board with Sonar5PE. I am new to this. Hooked everything up 5 or so months ago and always worked great till this came around. Any ideas. I'm not even sure where to look. Tascam or Sonar or other. Thanks
 
Does no reply mean no one has experienced this or I wasn't clear or the answer can be many things?
 
got any wireless equip nearby or cell phone or something like that?

Remember, I did this about 3 weeks ago and made an mp3 out of it. All was fine. I did 5 or so projects similar to this in all. Thay all got this hiss after the fact somehow. I recorded a quick guitar line today and there was no hiss. It totally baffles me. Thanks for any ideas. :confused:

ps, no phones around.

Found it. It was a damn guitar plug-in I tried. I trouble shooted all the effects and plug-ins till the noise was gone. That was it. :o :)
