Pretty crazy and freaky deaky dude. Sounds like a fun tune though if I was drinking beers and driving to the lake at the same time.

Personally I like the mutli guitar attack going on here. It is a bit odd maybe, but fun. Bass guitar sounds good.

This one actually strikes me as a little more straightforward than some of your others. The music anyway is almost more mainstream sounding than I'm used to...

Something about the vocal delivery bugged me though. I don't know if it is the effects you used or something, but it almost seemed like the syllables were landing just after the beat at times...I dunno, maybe just me  :). Anyway, as I said, a fun track - thanks for sharing it.

I think this sounds great. i love the guitar sounds. Nice growly bass. Drums have a good kick thud, and sound good in the mix. The snare is kind of laid back but it works fine for this song. The delay on the vocal sounds like it could be shortened up a little. Maybe that's what heatmeister was talking about? Also think the vocal level is a tiny bit low.

Thanks Heat, yeah...kinda went for something a bit more mainstream musicwise...can't help it with the vocals...I just tend to get off the beat at times:p,I guess its the way I phrase things ..I'm weird that way..Thanks for listening!

Thanks guitarzero...I actually did 3 diffrent tracks of the main vocal, which may be giving it the delay sound..the drums are loops so I cant really control the snare level ...I agree with the overall vocal level and will address that when I remix, maybe lower 2 of the vocal tracks so it dosen't have that delay feel to it?

The drums sound a little "too" fake sounding. Try to add in some variety to throw off scrutinizing ears.
The guitars are very 80's hair band-ish. OK with me.Solo probably too long.
Vocals are hip and sound good.
The song itself is poppy and punky. keeps you hangin' on.

Great, reminds me of "Jean Genie"!
Yeah, it's freaky and kind of 70-ish. But then that's what I expect from you, Queep. Hope you never change.;) I didn't get the feeling there were too many guitars, they sound great. Your phrasing is off sometimes giving it a freakier touch, but your voice sounds great. Once again great songwriting and arrangement.

Joey :)

I really have been trying to keep my drums a bit more simple....I usually throw in crazy fills and cymbal crashes all over the place...so it was something I did try and do, I think I may add a little more stuff tho' as you say to make it sound more human. I used my strat with a floyd rose, so it's kinda hard for me not to slip into hair metal mode:D....Thanks for listening and the feedback!

Thanks Joey...don't think I could change if I tried...I do tend to sing that way...as some of my favorite vocalist do that as well...Thanks for the good word man!

Nice. The guitar playing is great. I like the riff for sure. Cool song dude. I just thought the lyrics are a little low. It's more like I'm trying too hard to hear what is being said. Great song though.

Sounds more new wave to me - post punk, eccentric, English, guitar oriented, sheer/snarl, it does have a bit of Bowie in it.
Much simpler drums & they work well.
Great bass tone.
Your singing is improving with every tune mate.
I REALLY enjoyed this.
Has the Tunacock trilogy been finished?

Lol. The verse music and vocal cadences are damn near lock-stock-and-barrel "Hang Fire" by the Rolling Stones. That's not a bad thing, I'm just saying. :drunk:

I like this a lot dude. Guitars and bass sound great. Great playing. The drums could be a little bigger, but they aint too bad for the song. More cowbell!

Holy Shit , your right!!!!:o:p:drunk:....Man, I never even thought of that song when I did this....very familiar with it tho'...probably one of my least liked Stones tunes...talk about subconscious brain seepage...dude, that sucks...now its gonna totally bum me out:D(just kidding).
I agree on the drums and that's one of the things I'm working on for the new mix...will kick that cowbell up as well!

Haha, it aint no big deal. I do it all the time. It's just that a lot of the stuff I subconsciously rip off is relatively obscure crap that no one knows or likes anyway. :drunk:

Yeah man..I think my problem is I have a job that pretty much allows me to listen to whatever music I want all day long...and that shit just gets so imprinted on my brain, its hard to do anything original....

Great musicianship, queepy! I really like the guitar sounds. It definitely was all over the place - very non-conventional, but I kind of like it.

Man... Sure can play guitar well.

Drums could come up, and might I recommend alternating the pitch / volume of the hi-hat. Honestly that's the only thing that sounded fake on the kit, to me.

Good work!
