Hip Hop Mixing/Mastering Question

I've been recording since 2004. I've gotten my tracks professionally recorded too, as well, but left figuring I could probably do a better job. I've listened to other home recording musicians and was blown away by the quality they achieved with less, and without having a need to use a $100k or more facility.

Please critique the quality of these tracks, and, remember, they are UNFINISHED. Check my page on www.soundclick.com/jordansplaybox.

Look for "The Gravel", "Love is Real", and the Come Widdit Freestyle.

This is what I use...

A Compaq Laptop, Sony Music Studio 5.0, Sony Audio Forge 8.0, a Samson G Track USB Mic, and some Sony $55 Headphones.

I await your critique and suggestions.
 
hey I really like your stuff, my 2 cents. I think in the come widdit freestyle it would actually sound better without the voice doubling. Just a thought.
 
I could master some of your stuff if you want? I need practice, I'm in my final year of music production at uni. Cheers
