hip hop beats

HEY! i play drums and now i want to make some realy hardcore rap beats on my computer. what do i need and how do i set it up. i have a usb interface and a oxygen 8 midi and m audio speakers. How do I set it all up?

get some software like FL but if i were you i would go get Reason see how you like that then later getta keyboard or a producing workstation lika MPC or so, test out which producing technique is more comfortable for you
