Hi
I have been experimenting with recording at home for about 6 months....
I am using Reaper on a PC, Windows 7, 4gb Ram, 500gig HD. The sound card is a Line 6 ux2.
A few months back I bought some Amplitube models and effects...
I an experiencing some problems with sound. I plug my Guitar straight into the UX2 record a dry signal not using any of the pod farm effects. I then go to run Amplitube as a VST and the sound in awful.
Its like double amping......
Yet if I go to render the file its just how it should be. Also if I use Amplitube as a standalone the sound is fine..
Could this be a monitoring issue?????Am I missing something in Reaper.....
I don't have this problem if I load a Amp up in pod farm and record the signal effected before. Neither do I have this problem if a record my Blackstar HT though the Emulated out into the UX2 as a dry signal......
Any help would be appreciated as I am try to mix my first recording and this is becoming frustrating....
