hi, here is a list of 'pencil' like condensers (small diaphragm), I gathered for recording vocal/speech,indoor & outdoor, from a distance of about 10"-20" away from the speaker. i know it's not the perfect solution for this kind of job, but considering my needs (mobility, small sized mic, ect..) i figured i'm going this way.
here's my list, some are high pro, and some aren't. what ever does the job is o.k for me. pick THREE of you favourite:

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

You left out the Shure SM81, and as that's the only one I have extended experience with, it gets my vote.

Why not a shotgun mic? That would seem to be a better fit, especially for outdoor recording of speech.

I have experience with the Rode NT-5 which are kind of on the darker side and the AT 3031 which are kind of on the brighter side. Although I don't have any experience with shotgun mics, I would think that it would be your best bet for what you need to do as per what I have read about them.

You've got a lot of mics on there that I've never used. but I like the Oktavas and Studio Projects C-4. For spoken word, I often use Shure SM82, which is a weird mic, nothing like SM81.-Richie
