Just thought I'd say hello in my first post. I'm a recently retired full time club player who has decided to try my hand at home recording some original music. I've been a gigging guitarist for over 30 yrs in bar-bands, and haven't a clue about much of anything to do with engineering a recording. I've just purchased the Propellerhead Reason 5 Record Duo for PC, and a Line 6 KB37 Audio Interface. I also own a Pod X3 Pro and an Axe-Fx Ultra. My ultimate goal is to produce one decent full length album before I leave this 'ol planet in hopes that my musical legacy will be more than a bunch of dirty ashtray's & empty beer bottle's at the end of the night! lol! I look forward to utilizing the wealth of information on this forum to help me achieve my goal!

Howdy Deez. What do you envision your LP to comprise of?

I guess my vision is in the style of late 70's early 80's AOR. Big guitars, big harmonies, etc. No delusions of grandeur, or expected sales. Just something that's high quality that I can hand out to friends & family and be proud of.

Some of my favorite music comes from that era.
