Hi,

Just joined so thought I'd do the usual intro ��

I'm a 50 yo, starting to fulfil an ambition of writing and recording my own songs. I'm a big country music fan but am making my own songs in a more late 70s early 80s rock/synth sound - think Joy Division meets OMD lol

Anyway, I've got a lot to learn as I've moved up from GarageBand on the iPad to Reaper.

Looking forward to getting good advice as I progress!

Welcome to the site. Years and years of advice throughout the site. You'll need a filter to get through a lot of the "distractions".

Once you learn Reaper you'll be glad you moved on from GarageBand, although 'Song' sounds pretty good.
