i just had a question for all the cool edit pro and audobe audition userss..
what do you do after you record?? I mean how do you edit it, what effects and other things you use.. please respond back in detail. thanks for helping a beginer out..

AFTER you get really well performed tracks recorded...

...clean up the tracks, comp parts if necessary, do a high-pass filter set at maybe 150Hz (depending on the musical material involved) to get rid of room boom, sometimes EQ, sometimes compress, a little reverb if it's needed, meticulously set levels and mute points, puzzle out panning requirements, mix down to two track, crop and/fade ends, convert to 44.1KHz/16 bit for CD burning.

That's about it.

Oh, yeah, and listen back to it multiple times on multiple playback systems and return to the original recording and tweak as necessary.
