I'm going to get myself a mixer and the soundcraft M-series does seem like a very good choice. I was planning on using the direct outs to feed my soundcard (i'm thinking of buying a delta44), but I found out on soundcraft's site that these were unbalanced. What does that mean to me? Should this make me change my decision?
Also, the direct outs are unbalanced, does this equal -10dBv instead of +4dBu? If the outs are -10dBv, will it matter?
Are you soundcraft owners happy with your choice of mixing console?
O, can I use the spdif outs to feed my soundblasters spdif ins and do my recording this way until I buy my new soundcard?
