I have been doing some research about the "fritz mod" (puts inputs in phase) could you not just use a polarity jimmied jumper cable to link the two channels? I do notice that the "normal channel" has different capacitor than vibrato channel. summin like .47 vs .22 (in vib channel). Also one common mod is to clip the cap on vib input side. Now if I remember correctly the whole cap thing creates diffferent filtering action and I also forget the formula for the low/high pass circuits ( I think is called an R/C curve) but it has been so long since I have fooled with this. It seems like that if you just do the clippy clip on the vib input side you would end up using the .47 cap attached to the b+ side of the V1 tube? Don't have schematic right in front of me. Seems like V1 feeds one side of the phase inverter and V2 feeds the opposite side of PI. Ok, after my demonstration of lack of knowlege the ultimate question becomes: will a polarity reverse cable do something similar. Teh cap issue just comes to mind; I forget the formula but would the cap in inupt Normal be added or divided (series, parralell) when you use a polarity reverse jumper? Would the result be a different knee point? Seems so. Or could you just give up on the whole thing and let the little beast do waht it does and since I have other gear that possess their personalities do theirs. But hey jsut one cable a little solder.
