Thanks for that Q - the main concern is the ability to upload to the site. The studio site is now 7.5meg in size and anglefire allows normal FTP upload, whereas most of the others only upload 10 files in one go using their own upload program.

cheers
john :)

....Just curious!

I had a jar of olives, and I tipped it over... tip... jar... I've never heard of it until now, and I Just scrolled down to the bottom of the screen and noticed an ad for it. What is it?

It seems to be an inexpensive (yet somewhat confusing) way for folks to send you money without them knowing your address. Also without you knowing who they are (if they want that). And also by credit card, if they choose (and that's REAL tricky with Tip Jar, in my recent experience).

It's not a bad idea for your site, especially if you only need $200-$300 a year to really have it self-standing...

Ok, so let me get this straight. We put a banner on our site for people to click on. We have an "account" set up for people to donate money to us. When people visit our site and feel frisky, they click on the banner, and send us money? Sign me up! :)

I thought it was another free site for web pages ...DOH!

cheers
john

Well Mr. Q, thanks for the tip... no pun intended there... I'll look into it the next time I have some time.

Later,
-Brian
