Ahhh... But No. But Maybe.
Actually, it wasn't on there like that before until I starting asking questions about the mic. I asked about the cap and it turns-out to be a pressure transducer from Sweeden. When I asked about getting cardioid from it, that's when the "pressure focus" technique came-up. Of course, that's about all he'll say, which I fully understand, but I just can't seem to get it out of my head to try and figure-out even the basic of basic concepts on this.
I'm sure it's not at all some marketing ploy; if anything something simply to differentiate as in maybe they didn't want to use "pressure gradient " simply because it is a pressure transducer used in a pressure gradient fashion somehow.
Oh well. Thank You anyhow as I didn't even think of drilling a hole(s) in the back! I tell ya, if ya think too hard, you can't even think of the simplest things!
So, do I detect a slight possibility that there may one day may be an HG Microphone walking amoung us?
