Here's a little portion of my prog rock album that the intro that I posted leads to...

The track is a raw premixed excerpt without vocals (I haven't recorded some guitars, violins and vocals yet)

What do you guys think?!

I think it sounds nice.. good recording
would like to hear it with the vocals
 
Nice blend of sounds going there. I like the snare sound, but might be a little loud. My favorite parts are the parts with dirty guitar. My least favorite parts are the parts without. Prog rock is dangerous territory. You do a good job, but it approaches feeling contrived. I'm interested to hear more.
 
Yeah, Fprod said it: bring on the guitars! Double every synth part with it. Especially cover up the general midi-ish sound of the organ (or choose a different patch)

I think you need to either speed it up 30%, get rid of the 4/4 feel, or change the title, to NOT suggest prog. rock.

Interesting stuff, but sounds "played" rather than "felt". The choir at the end made no sense to me.

In general I think you recorded your synth samples pretty well, and came up with a cleanly recorded piece. I'd try tweaking some of your synth patchs a tad, (if you aren't already) and watch out for those factory presets.

I'll be eager to hear how your vocals will sit on top of this. Keep us posted!
 
Right on! Interesting stuff, sounds good.
The drums sounded a little roomy compared to all the other tracks which sounded right up front.
