Hi.....here's a tune I wrote/recorded called "A Different Beat"...
it's a bit of a War/Protest tune.....
see what you think eh?

Listening as I type....Solo in the intro could come up a bit....Really like the beat and the keys. Pre-Chorus is really catchy - good melody! Has an eighties vibe to this. Cool marching drums on the chorus - fits perfectly. Then back into the original beat.....Excellent playing/echo/wah on the guitar solo....(Would love to know the guitar set up). The vocal mix is really interesting - couple of different sounds - can hear (what I think is) the compressor "on the side that wins" - cool effect. What kind of mic/effects are you using on the vocals.
This is a good tune - has a strong message in the lyrics but the melody delivers the message in a up beat way! Good one!

* For the end, I ran the vocals thru a Fender Twin Sim with Overdrive..the whole tune was recorded on a VS-1680 so there's lots of Mic Sims to choose from.

Catchy for sure, and I like the vox. I dont need the intro really, I bet you can just start the tune. Yup, a nice pop 80s vibe, the bass is too boomy on my AKG headphones, REALLY boomy. I dig the vox and the overall feel of this one.

I doubt like the sound of the Johnny comes marching home patch, perhaps a patch more like a real trumpet? This arrangement is really quite adavanced and very good, I like this even more than your other one, very good. :cool:

Reminds me of an 80s version of Klaatu.
