My board does, just to let you know what Im dealin with is... I have lexicon core2 for my inputs/to a 8 channel mixer. Im using Vegas 4.0 for that "bass,Guitar, drums, etc". Now Im trying to get into midi. What I what is to possibly use fruityloops for a drum program and kick my drummer to the curb for awhile, and do some track of my own. So I have a studiologic cmk-149 keyboard that I would like to be able to use with fruity "whether its drums or synth" I know it can be done but I have no idea how? I also have fm7 and other programs like that that I would like to use.
1. I have win98 for OS, when I go to my settings Midi controler is not there.
2.Is there any good doc's that may explain what Im trying to do
Im new to the coming of digital, so I guess you mite what to call it "coming out of the garage'
Whichever sound card you use you will need to download the midi drivers for it. You should be able to install the drivers, hook up to the joystick port using the special midi adapters and configure your software and go.
It's never quite that easy but those are the first steps.
If you have two card installed in your system, make sure they don't get conflict. Go Start menu --> Setting --> Control Panel --> system, and see if they (specially the MIDI port resource) get conflict. Set each to have their own resouce...
(Aaah, I don't use Win98, and not at my DAW by now, so I can't tell you the detail... may be latter )
