please help me out. im trying to hear some of my old songs from cakewalk pro audio 9 and im opening them in pro audio 9 but they are all yellow and they wont play i believe somehow its all turned to midi and it wont let me select audio instead of midi if i want to record i just cant figure out what to do thanks.

the dang thing will not let me set the source to stereo or left to right it just says midi and any song i load in is colored yellow. and it wont play. damn this sucks. any takers please.

Please tell me you haven't either -

1. Moved your Cakewalk \WAVEDATA folder, OR
2. Saved your file as a .WRK file and then cleaned up disk space

If not, it sounds like the link to the audio device driver has been lost. If you go into OPTIONS-AUDIO, is your audio card configured correctly?

Can you tell us more about your setup and the file itself - can you actually see your audio drivers listed in the track view?

phew thanks for replying so fast, i have spent so much money on all my cakewalk sofware and i just dont know how to use it to well. it was the link to my soundcard somehow it gott reconfigured. thanks so much you guys are great on this forum i dont know what id do without you.
