I'm looking for someone who is interested in re-recording a more or less experimental album. It has a topic based on the "Dungeons and Dragons" and "Lord of the Rings" genre of stories. Anyone with some talent in songwriting, recording, medieval music, singing, sound effects or story telling is welcome to listen to my demo songs/album and take a shot at making it listenable.

My ideas have been tested and proven applicable. The only problem is that the Ideas are all from only one person (they could vary a little more), the recordings lack emphasis and nearly no drums are ever present.

If you have any interest, contact email Daniel_dunlap@gmx.net, subject: project "Nadelius" or if you have ICQ, my number is 113212593

I'm friends with a guy in the Netherlands who's really into fantasy stuff... I don't know, but this sounds to me like it right be up his alley. I emailed a copy of your post to him - maybe he'll get in touch with you.

It sounds like a very interesting project.

Allright!!! The first serious answer someone gave me in a forum. Thanks!!

I should have also added that if you like Led Zeppelin or have a tendency to sound a lot like them, you'll most likely find something interesting about my music...

Is there someplace where you can post songs to see what other people have to say?

Well, you'll have to find webspace somewhere... if all else fails, you can always use mp3.com. I wouldn't use Geocities, because they impose very strict bandwidth limits. But once you've found the space, you can post links in this thread, or over in the mp3 area.

I'd be interested in hearing what you have.

I dunno... I was tempted to volunteer myself for this project when I first read your post. Although I'm not really into fantasy or DnD, I played a lot of computer adventure games by Sierra and Infocom when I was younger, which is kind of similar. I actually composed the soundtrack for an adventure game a couple of years back, but the game was never released. Such is life, when you're an adventure game fan.

Tell you what: When you get a chance to post those mp3s online, let me know. Maybe I can help you out in some way. Also, you might want to check out my mp3.com page, http://www.mp3.com/P_o_T . That contains three or four songs that I did for the computer game I mentioned. There were a couple more not too long ago, but I've been slowly weeding out the instrumental stuff in hopes of soon uploading some new material. Anyway, if that happens to be the kind of thing you're looking for, then this might be the kind of thing I can contribute to. The one thing I'm concerned about is whether or not I'd have the time to take on a new project... but it sounds interesting, at least. Definitely different.

Oh, and the game is called "Prisoner of Time". The songs from that soundtrack are clearly labeled, and they have an icon that looks like a man behind bars.
