We purchased a Fostex 8track HD w/ burner...It sits at my guitarists house, some 2+ hours from me....It records just fine, but he can't seem to figure how to 'load' a track in order to burn it to disc....I'm not there and can't help, but I REALLY want to get a disc in the mail this week...So....HELP!!!

Thanks!

You don't say which model but I am presuming the MR8 HD/CD.

Bounce your final mix on to 7/8.
Bounce 7/8 on to Stereo Wav File (Button 27 p20 Users Manual) This becomes the recordable track on your CD.

Each Song will give you a stereo wav file and each of these .wav files becomes a track on your CD.
Now, using the instructions starting on p9 of the MR8 HD/CD Supplement, burn each Song on to your CD-R. When complete "Finalize" the CD.

I suggest one Song = one CD Track as it is easier to manage.

When you have got a final CD and want to start on another set of tracks, RE-FORMAT the disk

Thanks 'T'....I kind of guessed that it had to do with bouncing the tracks, but aside from not having regular access to the equipment....I'm also a drummer.LOL!

Thanks Again!
