Help with the Samson G-Track

Hello,

I have had the Samson g-track for about a year now, I dont know a great deal about recording and so this mic suits me fine as it is pretty basic. I am at the stage now where I would like to have one mic recording the guitar, and one mic recording vocals.

My problem is that the g-track goes into the computer via usb, I need a way to attach another mic into the samson g-track so the computer picks up both. I dont have a clue about pre amps or interfaces etc, but I know something like that may solve my problem! Can anyone advise me on what to do please?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. You are going to need an interface to do that. I'm also not sure there is any way to use your g-track along with another mic via a mixer or interface. Maybe someone else has a workaround, but I think you will need to start over with new mics as well.
