I have a Soundtracs console - Topaz 24X8.
I am having problems with the volume level
(not enough) comming from my control room outputs. I have two sets of speakers with two seperate amps and they both have the same issue so I ruled out the speaker systems. I have used the speaker systems with other consoles with no problems. I am thinking level matching issues but am not sure. the board has to work hard (in the red +3 to +6) to get levels for tracing.
My recorder is +4 and the console is set to +4 tape in/out. when the console shows 0 the recorder matches using "call" tones. There is no level matching for the control room out (to increase board output). Any suggestions?
