my music teacher was telling me about a type of glass, it's double layered and
the middle is a vacum seal.

i was wondering were ill be able to buy some,

thanks

for what? just using "sound proof" glass won't do anything unless the rest of your room is "sound proof"

you might head over to the Studio Design section and start reading up.

Gorty has some sound proof glass for sale. He lives in the land of OZ too.

:D

Just kidding with you.

Doubled layered glass is a minute part of studio construction.

Your music teacher told you about 'soundproof glass' ?

Why?

well iam making a recording studio in a shipin container,

and iam gona have a wall to split it,

and in that wall i want a window

thanks,

well all i can tell you is the only way to really soundproof a room is to have it floating inside another room. totally sealed. so you arent going to soundproof it. all the foam and all that you see in your average studio isn't soundproofing. it's to enhance the acoustics of the room. They are there to absorb certain frequencies of sound, so that the room's natural sound is flat.
